BiH Presidency Member from the Republika Srpska Nebojša Radmanović received in Sarajevo Ambassador of the USA to BiH, Patrick Moon

During the meeting, opinions were exchanged about the current political situation in BiH, last local elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the functioning of government at the level of BiH. BiH Presidency Member from the Republika Srpska Radmanović and Ambassador Moon assessed that the local elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina passed in a democratic atmosphere, and expressed pleasure with the degree of democracy which BiH has achieved in its election process.

The two interlocutors also talked about the functioning of government at all levels, especially at the level of BiH.  BiH Presidency Member from the RS Radmanović and Ambassador Moon highlighted the importance of the stabilisation of political relations regarding the government at the level of BiH, so that Bosnia and Herzegovina could continue its path towards the European Union without obstructions. Such uninterrupted functioning of the government at the level of BiH would enable the continuation of the solving of key questions in BiH and its integration process.

At the meeting it was also talked about the implementation of the Ruling of the Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, in the case of Sejdić-Finci, which remains a priority, as one of the unfulfilled obligations of the government in BiH.
