The Reception for the Federation BIH Army generals awaiting retirement was held today at the Konak building. 

The Chairman of the BIH Presidency awarded the retired generals with the highest military awards. 

The BIH Presidency Chairman, Sulejman Tihic, gave Lt General Atif Dudakovic the award of the BIH Army Golden Shield. 

The BIH Army Silver Shield was given to the following generals: Drekovic Ramiz, Karavelic Vahid, Ganic Nehru, Hadzic Izet, Budakovic Sulejman, Alija Ismet, Music Mustafa, Lendo Refik, Malkic Salih, Bisic Munib, Cuskic Fikret, Cikotic Selmo, Saric Haris and Saric Jasmin. 

Brigadier Mirsad Sefic was awarded post mortem.  

“This is a special moment because after the difficult war and post war years you are to see a well deserved retirement. Each of you, from General Dudakovic to Brigadier Cikotic, gave their valuable contribution defending Bosnia and Herzegovina, our people and citizens. All of you are part of our fighting history and the legend called “ The Miracle of Bosnian Resistance”. You have succeed, together with other numerous BIH patriots, in defending the country and its armless people. It is true, thou, that this state is still not the one that its best sons had fought and died for. However, we are on the right path to achieve that goal. Today Bosnia and Herzegovina is a state and there are no serious political forces within or outside the country that could jeopardize its existence”, said the BIH Presidency Chairman Sulejman Tihic at the Reception.
