Member of the BiH Presidency, Denis Bećirović, visited the Banja Luka diocese, where he spoke with the deputy bishop of Banja Luka, Mons. Marko Semren Phd about the position and problems faced by Croats and Catholic believers in Bosnia and Herzegovina's entity RS.

Mons. Semren informed Dr. Bećirović on continuous work aimed at
preserving the religious identity and cultural heritage of Croats in the Banja
Luka diocese.
On that occasion, the member of the BiH Presidency, Denis Bećirović,
said that he will continue to strongly advocate for the realization of complete
equality of all citizens and peoples in the whole and indivisible state of
Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During the visit to Banja Luka, the member of the BiH Presidency, Dr.
Denis Bećirović visited the Ferhadija Mosque and the building of the Majlis of
the Islamic Community in Banja Luka and spoke with Banja Luka Mufti Nusret ef.
Abdibegović.
Mufti Abdibegović expressed his support for the activities of Denis
Bećirović, the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, stressing
that he was encouraged by his new concept and messages.
Mufti Abdibegović informed BiH Presidency Member Bećirović about the
activities of the mufti in Banja Luka, especially in the field of education and
the mission of religious education. They discussed the problems and challenges
faced by Bosniak Muslims in this part of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Bećirović and Abdibegović stated that religious rights and freedoms must
be respected in every part of Bosnia and Herzegovina and that it is the duty of
all levels of government to work on building a society in which all people will
enjoy equal rights and obligations.
