The interlocutors discussed the political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. They paid special attention to the announcements about the imposition of the Election Law by Office of High Representative.

Chairman Džaferović said
that it is not good for High Representative to impose unbalanced changes to the
Constitution of the Federation of BiH entity and the Election Law in order to
satisfy the demands of only one political party.
Džaferović said that
in the agreement signed with President of the European Council Charles Michel,
the leaders of the political parties agreed that the talks on limited
constitutional and electoral reforms would continue six months after the
elections and after forming of governments at all levels, and by undermining
this agreement, Office of High Representative is questioning the credibility of
the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Džaferović underlined
that unbalanced and discriminatory changes could harm Office of High
Representative as an institution which, according to the Dayton Peace
Agreement, is necessary for Bosnia and Herzegovina to function.
They discussed the
European path of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the prospects for acquiring
candidate status.
Džaferović thanked
Ambassador Uebber for her engagement in Bosnia and Herzegovina and wished her
good health and professional and personal success.
