On the second day of the 18th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik at a central residence in Baku, where they discussed expanding cooperation and strengthening mutual relations.
President Aliyev stressed that he perceived the Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik as a true friend and emphasized the need to strengthen mutual relations.

"Azerbaijan is continuing the construction of the
Trans-Adriatic and Adriatic-Ionian gas pipelines towards Europe, which will by
spring reach Italy and further through Bosnia and Herzegovina, in accordance
with signed agreements and memoranda between the countries of the region,
including BiH, which will be connected to the pipeline," Aliyev pointed
out.
He stressed that Azerbaijan has very good relations with
Serbia, Montenegro and Croatia, and that they regard Bosnia and Herzegovina as
a reliable and strong partner.
He said we needed to find ways to increase trade exchange,
adding that his country was interested in infrastructure projects.
President Aliyev invited the BiH Presidency member to attend
the Global Forum, to be held in Azerbaijan on March 3, and to prepare
co-operation agreements by then.
BiH Presidency Member Milorad Dodik thanked president Aliyev
for Azerbaijan's humanitarian projects in Banja Luka, stressing that
partnerships in all fields should be strengthened.
"You are our friends and we should carry out joint
projects that will be of mutual interest. I hope that we will strengthen and
expand our cooperation. For my part, I will do all I can so that we identify
areas of cooperation given the potential we have," said the Serb member of
the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dodik.
He emphasized the need to specify projects together and implement
business plans.
The Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dodik
said that the chairmanship of Azerbaijan would give additional impetus to the
Non-Aligned Movement, and the interlocutors agreed that more justice and
solidarity were needed in the world.
The Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina
invited President of Azerbaijan to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina.
